  12.          Library  of  Houston,  GEnie, PC-Sig, Public Brand Software, and

  15.          XTs, ATs, or compatibles, and will work on  MDA,  Hercules,  and
  16.          all color video cards.

  20.               The  ultimate  in  printing utilities, SUPER PRINT has
  21.               just  about  any  printing  feature  which  could   be
  22.               desired.   SUPER  PRINT will print files with embedded
  23.               control  characters,  will  slash  zeros,   add   line
  24.               numbers,  add  left margin space for three-hole paper,
  25.               page number, print file time and date in heading,  and
  26.               other stuff.    Recent  additions  include page length
  27.               setting, top and bottom margins, wild card  filenames,
  28.               prompted   printing,   printer   configuration   file,
  29.               adjustable tab expansion, and more!  This is also  one
  30.               of  the  few printing utilties which may be the target
  31.               of piped data from another program.  Now, version 2.80
  32.               includes even more enhancements,  including  character
  33.               translation capabilities and front/back printing.  The

  37.               This  is  a  text  formatting  program similar to UNIX
  38.               nroff, except oriented to the PC user.  Virtually  any
  39.               printer  can be supported with several different fonts
  40.               or ribbon options.  This program also has file merging
  41.               features for creating form letters merged with address
  42.               lists, or other such uses.  Latest version includes an
  43.               informative user display and front/back printing.

  73.               This expansion library for Borland's Turbo-C has  over
  74.               130 functions and growing.  Although Version 2.0 of TC
  75.               contains  direct  video  access, "Steve's Library" was
  76.               the FIRST to contain a full library  of  direct  video
  77.               text functions for this compiler.  Many users say that
  78.               my  functions  are  even better and easier to use than
  79.               Borland's.  The library includes complete source  code
  80.               in  C and assembler, plus several useful header files.
  81.               Included are printer BIOS service  routines  for  fast
  82.               printer  access,  and  async communications functions,
  83.               directly accessing the serial ports  for  fast  access
  84.               without buffering.  Up to 9600 baud is possible!
  85.               Need to accept wildcard filenames on the command line?
  86.               My  exparg()  function  re-arranges (argc, argv) to an
  87.               expanded array with all wildcards expanded to matching
  88.               filenames.
  89.               An installable interrupt handler for  the  18.2  Hertz
  90.               interrupt   is   included  so  that  simple  real-time
  91.               applications can be  programmed  which  will  function
  92.               properly regardless of the type of system in use.
  93.               Functions  for  file  opening  from PATH and specified
  94.               environment variables make opening a file anywhere  in
  95.               the environment totally transparent to the programmer.
  96.               And  now,  support  is  also  included  for the switch
  97.               inputs on the game port!   This  4-bit  port  is  very
  98.               handy  for reading switches or other logic levels from
  99.               any outside device.
  100.               Full documentation suitable for printing  and  placing
  101.               in  a  binder  is  provided,  along  with a utility to
  102.               automate the printing.

  104.               six utilites with  source  code  are  included.    The
  105.               utilities include:
  106.               GTOD - Reports time and date in many formats
  107.               TC - Compare two text files and report differences
  108.               WC  -  Count  words,  lines, characters, and checksums
  109.               files
  110.               INPATH - Locate an executable file in current PATH
  111.               DUMP - Unique hex dump program in COLOR, with optional
  112.               highlighted bytes.

  115.               This is a program for software publishers  which  will
  116.               allow  insertion  of  serial  numbers into any kind of
  117.               file.  Serial numbers can be up to 16 characters long,
  118.               with   up   to   4   digits   automatically   numbered
  119.               consecutively.   Online help and serial number logging
  120.               are provided.  Menu driven and user friendly!

  136.                            FOR AMATEUR RADIO OPERATORS
  137.               *****   CONLOG   *****
  138.               This is the first in what  will  become  a  series  of
  139.               contest   logging   programs  for  the  Amateur  Radio
  140.               Operator.  CONLOG is intended for the annual  November
  141.               Sweepstakes.   This  package is more than one program.
  142.               There is a logging program for use during the contest,
  143.               and  two  support  programs  to  print  the  resulting
  144.               logsheets, summary,  and  duplicate check sheets.  All
  145.               forms  are  printed  with  slick  graphics  (for   IBM
  146.               compatible  printers only), but can be also printed on
  147.               non-IBM printers without the graphics.  The forms have
  148.               been approved by the  ARRL  for  submission  as  valid
  149.               contest entries.     Extra  care  has  been  taken  to
  150.               preserve all log entries, even if there is a system or
  151.               power failure.   The  user  can  configure  all  video
  152.               attributes,   plus   name,   QTH,   rig,  and  section
  153.               information.  This program is the  result  of  various
  154.               programs  written  over  the  last seven years for the
  155.               Sweepstakes.  No guarantees are made, but MY score has
  156.               increased by over 25% as a result of computer logging!
  157.               And the time saved in re-copying  the  logs  (to  make
  158.               them readable!)  is  incredible.   My entry is usually
  159.               ready for mailing about 30 minutes after  the  contest
  160.               ends.   All new contest rules are supported, including
  161.               the new West Texas section, and QRP power  precedence.
  162.               Provisions  are  made  to  edit  or delete log entries
  163.               during the contest, and the  program  absolutely  will
  164.               not let  you  log a duplicate callsign!  Log size is a
  165.               hefty 2500 entries to  cover  even  you  guys  in  the
  166.               COLorado section.    Try  it once, and throw away your
  167.               pencil!  And when you work  the  contest,  say  hi  to
  168.               WA9DRE when we work!
